Obituary Charles William “Grumpy” Darron, 81, of Fulton was called to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. He was born to Andrew Darron and Marie (Streff) Darron on October 6, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri. Grumpy was married to Carolyn (Emmerich) Risch Darron who survives his passing. Grumpy was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served on the commissioning crews of nuclear submarines Scorpion, Plunger and Flasher.
