Obituary Cecelia M. Muench Of Arlington Heights Cecelia M. Muench was born on August 26, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward Thomas and Bridget (nee O’Grady) McGovern. She died Sunday, February 23, 2020 at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights. Mrs. Muench loved to be surrounded by her large extended family. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and the local VFW Auxiliary. Cecelia is survived by her spouse of 43 years Dr. Robert Muench; her children: Sandra (Eric) Ruskoski, Linda (the late Larry) Carlson, Frederick (Betsy) Mensch and the late Dean (Kathy Sorci) Muench, Jan (Bob) Knecht, Greg (Laurene) Muench and the late Robert C. (Patty) Muench; her 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 22 years Frederick E. Mensch; her parents; as well as her 8 siblings. Memorial Visitation Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N.
