December 29 2000 February 8 2020 (age 19)
Obituary Carson Brady Borders was born December 29, 2000 to Felicia Langford and through the providence of God’s eternal wisdom was placed in the loving foster care of his soon to be adoptive parents, Chad and Crystal Borders on April 22, 2002. Carson was a loving child and tenderhearted. Carson made peace with God at the young age of 12 on a mourner’s bench during revival service at Old Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church on July 7, 2013. He united with Old Hopewell soon after being saved and was baptized into the fellowship of the church where he remained a member until his death. Carson’s passing has brought great sorrow to his parents, brother, sisters, grandparents, uncle, aunts, cousins and a host of friends and acquaintances. Though we shall see his smiling face no more in this life, we are reminded of what the Psalmist David said when his young child had died, “Can I bring him back? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.” If we wish to see Carson again, we must go to him and by his testimony of being born again, he is now in paradise where God is and where Jesus, his savior is. Carson is survived by his adoptive parents, Chad and Crystal Borders, his biological mother, sister and niece – Felicia Langford, Makayla Perry and her daughter Ivy; adoptive brother and sisters – Boston, Ragan and Eliza Beth Borders; grandparents, Billy and Barbara Beasley and Carroll and Willie Ruth Borders; uncles and aunts – Craig and Missy Beasley, Keith and Christy Beasley and Jackie and Jason McCormick; cousins, Kayleigh, Kirsten, Kassidy, Walker and Riley Beasley; Cullen, Caden and Gracen McCormick and a host of friends, one of which was Zander Dotson. Carson was accompanied in death by his special friend, Brianna Dotson, the loving mother of Zander. We ask for your prayers for the family and especially for one lost cousin and for Zander. God is good; He makes no mistakes and we earnestly pray that through Carson’s death and testimony that others will seek and find salvation. May God bless! Funeral services for Carson Borders will be conducted Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM from Old Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Gardens.
