Carolyn’s Obituary Carolyn K. Myers, 65, of Elyria, died January 30, 2020 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. She was born July 16, 1954 in Canton, Ohio and had lived with her brother and sister in law, Bill and Kim Wiggins at Helping Hands in Elyria where she assisted in the care of people in need. Carolyn was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and had been a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Carolyn is survived by children, Jack Shahan, Bradley (Mendy) Shahan and Tonya (Rick) Myers; six grandchildren; siblings, Barb (Mark) Reinhard, Brenda (George) Baker, Patty (Mark) Wilson, Marlene (Chris) Curtis, Darlene (Randy) Phillips and William (Kim) Wiggins; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1981; mother, Betty Campbell; father, William Wiggins; and a sister, Toni Newhart. Friends will be received Friday, February 7, 2020 from 2:00 pm until the time of a 4:00 pm service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria.
