Obituary Mount Vernon – Carles E. Brown, Sr., 75, passed away on Tuesday February 11, 2020. He was born in Greenwich on April 10, 1944. He was the son of the late Charles and Etta (Hadamuscin) Brown. He married Beverly Ann Atherton on March 19, 1972. He loved farming, hunting, fishing, and most of all, his family. Carles is survived by his wife, Bev, his son, Carles E. Brown, Jr., his daughter, Tammi M. Brown (Nathan Stinemetz), his granddaughter, Makayla Brown (Michael Jones), sisters, Pricilla Arnholt and Sylvia Hambleon, and his brothers, Jerry (Alice) Brown, Nilo (Jane) Brown, and Evan (Carolyn) Brown. His brother Avery Brown preceded him in death. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday February 17 at the Fischer Funeral Home, 403 High St. Danville. Pastor Sheila Kent will officiate. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations can be made to the East Knox Lions Club Fall Turkey Shoots in care of Chris Fletcher, 18920 Nunda Rd. Howard, 43028.
