Calvin O. Woods, Jr., age 76, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake with his family at his side. He fought the good fight for several years and has gone on to his reward and rest. He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 49 years. Calvin worked in maintenance for Center Ridge Nursing Home for over 19 years and was a member of Fields United Methodist Church in North Ridgeville and longtime member of Corvette Cleveland and “A Made Member of the MOB” (Men Out for Breakfast). He enjoyed fishing, bowling and going to Myrtle Beach. His pride and joy was his 1969 Corvette which he bought new in 1969 and has owned for over 50 years. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Ryki (nee Kovach); daughter, Sarah (Michael) Belcher; nieces and nephews, Pattie, Robert (Debbie), Jim (Alicia) Alan (Cathi), Madelyn, Eric, Louis, Laura (Will), Scott (Rachel), Brian (Rachel). He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Sarah Woods and sister, Sally Weber. Friends may call Friday from 3-5PM and 7-9PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Saturday at 9:30AM in the funeral home. Rev.
