Bruce B. Clevenger, 76, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Deaconess Hospital Gateway Campus. Bruce was born December 27, 1943 in Mt. Vernon, IN to the late Samuel A. Clevenger and Sibyl G. (Billups) Clevenger. He was a 1966 graduate of Western Kentucky University and taught industrial arts at Washington Middle School for 35 years before retiring in 2001. Bruce enjoyed woodworking and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs. Surviving Bruce are his wife of 51 years, Paulette (Carlisle) Clevenger; a daughter, Sarah Lynn (Michael) Sears; one son, Bryan B. (Melanie) Clevenger; two sisters, Mary Ann (Dan) Zenthoefer and Sharon Mae (Frank) Hensley and six grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Elizabeth Sears and Chloe, Cohen and Crew Clevenger. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Pierre Funeral Home, Pastor Denny Stevenson officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.     I am so very sorry about Bruce’s death. I just came across accidentally. I remember Bruce from when we lived on West 2nd Street in MV. Paulette, I remember being a flower girl in your wedding & still have pics!!

    I know it’s been a few months and the pain gets a little better, but it never truly goes away. I hope you guys are able to find a little peace in the good memories you have! Have missed you guys so much over the years, after all, Sharon, you are Kathy’s grandmašŸ„°!!
