Obituary Brenda Lou Moran (Nee Marlow) Hammond Brenda Moran, age 73, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2020. She is survived by her Husband of 47 years Lawrence E. Moran; Three sons: Dan (Janna), James (Angela) and John Moran; one brother, Bill Marlow; two sisters: Mary Barker and Linda Cox; along with numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and one great grandchild. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Katherine Marlow; Sisters: Charlotte, Ruby and Louise; brothers: Jerry, Frank, Jean and Jim. Brenda was born in Fordsville, Kentucky on March 4, 1946. She has been a resident of Hessville since the age of 4. Brenda was very active in the Hessville soccer club, both as a coach and a player in the 1980s. She was also a cub scout Den Mother. She enjoyed league bowling and playing Bunco with her girlfriends. She had a love for dancing, especially at weddings, and a special knack for making others smile. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed. Friends are invited to join the family for a memorial gathering to celebrate Brenda’s life on Saturday, March 7 , 2020 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville).
