Obituary STAUNTON – Brenda Carolyn (Martin) Heflin Hoover Thacker, age 72, passed away Thursday (February 6, 2020) at Kings Daughters Community Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born January 13, 1948 in Bethesda, Md., she was the daughter of James Herman and Linda Virginia (Allen) Martin. Prior to retirement in 2004, she was employed as a switchboard operator for Augusta Medical Center, and was previously employed by King’s Daughters’ Hospital.
