Obituary Bobby L. Hobgood Jr. 65, of Dixon, KY passed away at his home on Tuesday February 18, 2020. He was a Diesel Mechanic for Union Carbide from 1978 thru 1991, he also ran his own Tool Truck called ABC’s Tool from 1991 thru 1995. He served as the president of the WC Quarterback Club for 10 years. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. He was preceded in death by his dad Bobby Hobgood Sr. Survivors include his wife of 46 years Anita Hobgood of Dixon, KY; his 2 sons Scott Hobgood(Melony) and Corey Hobgood both of Dixon, KY; his mother Helen Hobgood of Dixon, KY; 2 sisters Kathy Wilson of Henderson, KY; Tina Pruitt of Providence, KY; 3 brothers Darrell Hobgood of Portage, IN; Randy and Greg Hobgood both of Dixon, KY; 3 grandsons Cash, Gauge and Kallon Hobgood all of Dixon, KY, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday February 21, 2020 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Minister James Palmer will officiate. Burial will be in Old Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden, KY. Visitation will be from 10am until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
