Obituary Barbara Oldam Swetz, 80, of Seaford, died on February 9th, 2020 at home. She is survived by her husband, Robert, a son Philip of Seaford, DE, and a daughter, Leanne (Mrs. James) Lassiter of Richmond, VA and the couple’s sons, James, Jr and Quentin, granddaughter, Alicia Sivertry of NJ, and great grandson, Noah Lassiter. She was born in Newark, NJ and graduated from Georgetown Visitation Junior College, Washington, DC. Mrs. Swetz moved to Delaware in 1992 and retired in 2005 as a library assistant. For many years she worked in communications as a newspaper feature writer and copywriter as well as in the field of public relations. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Seaford, where a Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 17th at 11 AM. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
