Antonia Ordine, of Carneys Point, NJ, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the age of 99 (two months shy of her 100th birthday). Daughter of the late John Morzenos and Pota “Bertha” Soumakis Morzenos, Toni was a proud first generation Greek American. Born in Penns Grove, she was a lifelong Salem County resident. Many fond family memories were created waiting tables at Lou’s Diner, owned and operated by her brothers. She enjoyed a long and happy marriage to her husband, Gennaro, and their daughter, Patricia, was the center of her world. Toni was a survivor, a brave and determined woman who lived life with purpose and loved with her whole heart. Her great grandsons were her pride and joy. She enjoyed a good game of bingo and a strong cup of coffee, and she cooked many family meals to the sounds of Frank Sinatra. She was treasured and admired by her family, and she will be deeply missed. She is survived by her granddaughter, Christina Moffitt; her grandson, Matthew Moffitt; her two great-grandsons, Alex and Sam Moffitt; her sister-in-law, Yolanda Ordine; and multiple nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Gennaro Ordine; her brothers, Ronnie, George, Alex, and Louis; and her beloved daughter, Patricia Bye. Services will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Adams Funeral Home, 18 E. Maple Avenue, Penns Grove, NJ 08069 with a visitation from 10 to 11 AM and the funeral service at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Penns Grove. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Antonia Ordine please visit our Sympathy Store.
