Angela Kay Herron, age 52, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020. She was born on August 26, 1967. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Reba Whitener; grandmother, Hester Hall; uncle, JC McGill; and her aunt, Mary Sims. She is survived by her husband, Gary Herron of Dalton; son, Seth Cannon (Christiana Blackwell) of Dalton; stepson, Bryant Herron (Jessica) of Maryland; stepdaughter, Tonya Burns (Ben) of Dalton; special aunt, Debbie Barnes of Chatsworth; special uncle, Gerry McGill of Dalton; brothers, Randy Whitener of Tunnel Hill, Terry Millsap of Dalton; sisters, Sherrie Millsap of Dalton, Vickie Whitener of Dalton; grandchildren, Zander Cannon, Chris Burns (Stephanie), Nick Burns (Madison), Conner Herron, Kameron Herron, Riley Herron; and great grandson, Brayden Burns. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Angela Kay Herron will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, February 20, 2020 the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Wednesday evening. Arrangements have been entrusted to independently owned and operated Dalton Funeral Home, 620 S.
