Alma’s Obituary Alma “Huney” Ruth Knight, age 78, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, February 17, 2020, in a local hospice facility. Ms. Knight was born February 18, 1941, in Seagoville, Texas to Hollis and Iona Minter. She was retired from Xerox after thirty-three years of service and was a member of the Assembly of God faith. Huney loved God and her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Hollis Minter and Ricki Minter. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Abel Lascano of Texarkana; her grandchildren, Jeff Hudnall (and partner, Ashly Parker), Mason Hudnall (and wife, Tori Hudnall), Aaron Lascano (and fiance’, Val Lopez), and Phillip Lascano; her great-grandchildren, Addison Hudnall, Parker Hudnall, Liam Lascano and Caspian Lascano; her daughter, Teresa Fields of North Carolina and her granddaughters, Lauren, Lisa, and Rachel Fields; one sister, Vicki Minter of Florida and one brother, Randi Minter of Jacksonville, Texas along with many other relatives. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Friday, February 21, 2020, at Chapelwood Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Read More
