Allen’s Obituary Allen “Al” Smith, age 76, of Cohasset, MN went home to see “Mama” on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family and long-time companion, Sadie. Al worked hard all his life, trucking and raising four girls. Allen loved to hunt, fish, and go camping with his family. Preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Pat; daughter, Sheryl; parents; and special friend, Carol. Al is survived by his daughters, Mary “Melon” (Choy) Scovel, Shelley (Tim) Schwartz, Deanna Greniger; two brothers, Billy, Delbert; two sisters, Annie, Diane; 13 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 1:00-4:00 PM at the Wabana Town Hall, Grand Rapids, MN. Read More
