Obituary Miriam “Jeanne” (Johnson) Frank, 86, of New Palestine, passed away January 8, 2020 in Greenfield. Miriam was born in Kankakee, IL on May 15, 1933, a daughter of the late Wilodene (Countryman) and Joseph B. Johnson. Survivors include sons; Donald B. (Mary Beth Price) Frank, daughters; Deborah L. (Thomas) Williams, Danita J. (Edward) Charters, II, sisters; Rita (Dick) Lambrecht, sister-in-law; Barbara Johnson, grandchildren; Melissa (Williams) Hurst, Joshua Frank, Angie (Williams) Crook, Zachary Frank, Tyler Frank, Jackson Taylor, Cameron Taylor, step grandchildren; Andrea Charters, Jenna Price, Mitchell Price, and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband; Merle P. Frank, mother-in-law; Opal M. Frank, father-in-law; Herman Frank, brother; Dr. Robert Johnson, sisters-in-law: Millie Frank, Levera Frank, Marilyn Frank, brothers-in-law; Cleo Frank, Harold Frank, Phil Ramsey. To Jeanne, her family was everything. She had a Masters in Education and retired in 1994 from College Wood Elementary in Carmel, Clay Schools. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Her hobbies included quilting, lake life, reading and family. “She was a nice lady and had a great smile.” Service will be on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 1:00pm at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 West US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130 with Visitation from 11:00am until time of service at the mortuary.
