Obituary of Jean L Sparrow Jean L. (Sholes) Sparrow of Belfast and Swanville passed away on January 6, 2020 with her loved ones at her side. Jean was born on June 22, 1937 in Belfast, ME to the late Eugene Sholes and the late Mary (Floyd) Moore. She worked for many years as a packer and stitcher at Waldo Shoe, Evans-Hampden Shoe and Little River Apparel. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Floyd Sparrow; her sister, Sylvia Kurt and her brother, Richard Sholes. She is survived by her only daughter, Lisa Vivian Brassbridge; her granddaughters, Amanda Lynne Brassbridge and Ashlie Jean Brassbridge and her four great grandchildren, Michael Eugene Tripp, Leah Hope Moores, Kalyb Charles Dodge and Sabryna-Mae Marlane Kemp. She is also survived by three sisters, Rosemary Reynolds, Ethel Allen and Barbara Hamilton. Along with many other family members and friends she will be most fondly remember by her cousin, Frances Clark. Jean had a special love for all animals and leaves behind her beloved companions and fur babies, Chloe and Squeaky, two coal black twin cats. They have been lovingly re-homed to her good friends Gerald and Sylvia Brassbridge. A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Faith Temple Church of God on Rt. 52 in Belfast, ME to begin at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local Humane Society in Jean’s name.
