Fijalkowska, 70, died January 16, 2020 at a Bangor hospital after a period of ill health. She was born April 15, 1949 in Chelsea, MA, a daughter of Dennis and Jessie Kaminski) Fijalkowska. She was the oldest of 3 siblings. In her early years Elaine had a passion for singing and was in a church choir. A high school graduate, Elaine worked in the banking industry until marrying at age 25. Elaine was an avid reader and had a talent for singing. Later in life she met her fiancé Jim Green and they enjoyed singing together. They retired to Maine. Elaine was a loving and caring sister, mother and grandmother. She is survived by 5 children, Steven Larson of Newport, Jason Larson of Exeter, NH; Deborah Larson of Georgetown, MA, Daniel Larson of Concord, MA, and April Larson of Portsmouth, NH; 2 brothers, Dennis Fijalkowski of AZ and Andrew Fijalkowski of FL; 10 grandchildren, Katreena, Kevin, Kyle, Jenie, Abby, Nathan, Aiden, Amaya, Emma and Franky. A graveside funeral and committal service will be held at the Riverside Cemetery, Newport, in the spring. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Newport.
