Zoe Bunn Faircloth, 69, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Balfour Baptist Church, Asheboro, with Rev. Gary Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. A native of Randolph Co., NC, Ms. Faircloth was born August 30, 1950, the daughter of the late Arthur Wilbert Faircloth and Vera Callie Harkey Faircloth. Zoe’s passion was music and animals. She taught voice and piano for many years, was one of the founders for the Randolph Community Choir and organized annual Easter and Christmas plays. Zoe served as Miss Randolph County and had a Master’s Degree in Religion. She was also a supporter of Veterans, especially the Marines. She served on the Veterans Council and was an Associate Member of the Marine Corp League. Zoe was a huge supporter of the Asheboro community, sang and coordinated the National Anthem performances at the Asheboro Copperhead baseball games, and was owner of the Our Hometown local newspaper. She is survived by her brother, Kim Faircloth; nieces and nephews, Josh Faircloth and wife Nicole, Kristen Faircloth, and KimberMarie Faircloth. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
