Obituary William L. Benny Jr., 70, of Burnham, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019, at his home. Born October 27, 1949, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late William L. Benny Sr. and Lois J. (McKalips) Benny. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: an infant brother, Robert Benny; and special aunt, Ruth Benny. He is survived by: wife, M. Kay (Forsythe) Benny, of Burnham, sons, Todd M. Benny and wife, Cathy, of Burnham, and Ryan A. Benny, of Lewistown; a precious granddaughter, daughter of Ryan and Hillary, Andrea L. Benny; brother, John A. Benny, and wife, Donna, of Lewistown. He was a Chief Logan High School graduate, Class of 1969. William attended Freedom Ave. Burnham United Methodist Church. He worked at Lewistown Hospital for 38 years, retiring in 2009, and recently retired from the Burnham hardware store. Bill loved spending time at camp that he and his son’s built. He enjoyed hunting, shooting, and re-loading. A receiving of friends will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Burnham United Methodist Church, 513 E. Freedom Ave., Burnham, with a memorial service to follow at 5:30 p.m., with Pastor Randy Traxler. Private committal will take place at Birch Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Michael Bailey officiating.
