She was a lifetime resident of Franklin, Indiana. She was born on April 15, 1922 in Johnson County to Clarence and Minnie May (Morrison) McDonald. She married her beloved husband Marlin Howard Prince on December 23, 1940 whom preceded her in death on March 02, 2015. She is survived by three daughters, Marla Hash (John Denzil Hash, deceased); Jane Cunningham (Larry Devore) and Holly Caughey (Dr. Ben C. Caughey). Also surviving are ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren. On August 11, 1987, she sadly was preceded in death by her loving son, Donald Mac Prince (Betty Graham) at the age of 41. She also was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Harry McDonald, Bud McDonald, Andy McDonald and Catherine (McDonald) Jennings. She was a graduate of Franklin Community High School. She retired after years of service with the Government of Johnson County, Indiana. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and homemaker, a licensed Cosmetologist, and a licensed Realtor to name a few of additional accomplishments throughout her lifetime. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star; member of Johnson County Shrine Club and a member of Franklin Elks Lodge No. 1818. She enjoyed crocheting and was a master seamstress. She found pleasure in gifting her projects to family and friends. She developed tasteful cooking skills while surviving the Great Depression Era. She enjoyed playing bingo while socializing with dear friends during her later years. She was a member of Bluff Creek Christian Church. The Family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Otterbein Franklin Senior Life Community and to the staff of Main Street Hospice for their loving care. Rev. David Lee will conduct a graveside service on Monday, December 30, at 1:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
