Virginia “Ginny” Joseph, 82, of Johns Island, SC passed away peacefully following a long battle with cancer on December 8, 2019 surrounded by her loving children. A native of Quinter, KS, she was daughter of the late Sam and Loretta Jacobs. She was also preceded in death by her son, Steven. Ginny lived in Colorado for over 30 years before moving back to Kansas where she owned the flower shop in Quinter for a few years. She eventually moved to Charleston, SC area with her daughter Lisa until her death. She is survived by her children, Michelle Taylor, Mike Gerstner and his wife, Terri, Lisa Hauff and her husband, Joe, Gina Gerstner; sisters, Elaine Williams and Janice Zerfas; brother, Don Jacobs; ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. A very devoted mother and grandmother, Ginny was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing by beautiful memories. She will be missed everyday by her children and grandchildren. Per her wishes, Ginny was cremated and the family plans memorial services to be held at a later date in Kansas.
