Victoria Kerr Casas, 92, High Point, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019. Victoria was born in Moron, Cuba, and was a resident of Johnson City for most of her life before moving to High Point twenty years ago. She was a daughter of the late Walter C. and Louisa Swanberg Kerr. In addition to her parents, Victoria was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Antonio Casas, in 1989, a son, Arturo Casas, and two sisters Ruth and Hazel. She is survived by one son, Tony Casas and wife Kathryn, Greensboro, NC; her daughter, Victoria Casas Bivens, High Point; one sister, Anna Martinez, Miami, FL; five grandchildren, Tim Casas, Jennifer Bivens Mason, Kristina Casas Messick and husband Robby, Rebecca Bivens Kirkman, Aleysha Reiser and husband C.J.; ten great-grandchildren, Savannah Casas, Dustin Bivens, Ashley Mason, Allison Kirkman, Katie Messick, Alex Mason, Abbey Messick, James Reiser, Brody Messick, Anders Reiser. The graveside funeral service for Victoria will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday, September 21, 2019 in Monte Vista Memorial Park. Those who will be attending are asked to meet at Appalachian Funeral Home at 11:30 A.M. to follow in procession to the cemetery.
