Tristan Jake Simons, age 31, of Mifflinville, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. He was born on Tuesday, June 7, 1988 in Mt. Holly, NJ, a son of Candy L. (Brown) Ryan and stepfather Wayne K. Ryan. Jake graduated from Columbia-Montour Area Vo Tech in 2007. For the past 5 years, he was employed by Kawneer Inc., Bloomsburg. Jake enjoyed spending his time outdoors, especially kayaking, hiking, fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his family, and loved everyone with all of his heart and had a special love for his nieces and nephews, he was the best uncle Jake ever. He rooted for the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Braves and believed there was no better truck than his Ford truck. Jake was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Harry J. and Sandra L. Brown and an uncle Harry J. Brown, Jr. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Candy L. wife of Wayne K. Ryan of Mifflinville, his father Dale W. Simons, Sr., a brother, Dale W. Simons, Jr. of Browns Mills, NJ, three sisters, Desirea L. wife of William Rodriguez of Deltona, FL, Cassandra S. wife of Gregory Hart of Liberty Boro, PA, Laci O. wife of Drew MacKay of Opelika, AL, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg. Funeral Services will begin on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Bishop William Allen and Elder Keith Sanford, officiating.
