Timothy’s Obituary Timothy Edward Walkup, 59, passed away Friday, December 6, at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. Tim was born February 12, 1960, in Dallas, TX to William (Bill) & Sylvia Walkup. The Walkup family moved to Boulder, CO. While growing up in Boulder, Tim loved playing baseball, working on cars and spending time fishing with his family. He graduated from Boulder High School in 1978. His interest in cars led Tim to attend technical school for Auto Body Repair. He worked in that field for several years before entering the United State Army. He enjoyed his Army career and the time spent stationed in Nuremberg, Germany. After his time in the service, Tim returned to the Denver metro area. He began working in the collections field and eventually opened his own agency. Time had an entrepreneurial spirit, choosing to open several businesses during his lifetime. In his free time, Tim enjoyed spending time with his friends. Some of his favorite times were fly fishing any of Colorado’s mountain rivers. Survivors include his sister, Sheila (Mitch) Bostrom of Brush and his brother David Walkup of Greeley, as well as his nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill & Sylvia Walkup. Rosary service will be Friday, December 13, 2019, at 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brush. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. The Heer Mortuary is entrusted with the funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brush. Read More
