Obituary Dover – Theodore (Ted) R. Bode, 86, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at ManorCare Health Services-North. Born on August 23, 1933 in York, he was the son of the late Elmer William Bode and Bessie M. (Schubauer) Bode Lauer and graduated from William Penn Senior High School. At the age of 21, Ted enlisted in the military and served as a Corporal in The United States Army Signal Corps (USASC) during the Korean confict 1954-1956.
