Susan Carol Chastain Marcus, 49, wife of Dennis Lamar Mark Marcus, of 106 E. B Avenue, Easley, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at her home. A native of Seneca, SC, Mrs. Marcus was the daughter of the late Marshall Theodore Chastain and Patricia Louise Winkler Chastain Pfister. She was a loving mother and Nana. Mrs. Marcus was of the Church of God faith. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Marcus is survived by her son: Brandon Johnson of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter: Heather Nathan and husband Avery of Central, SC; step-daughter: Dee Marcus of Liberty, SC; brothers: Leon Chastain and wife Dianne of Seneca, SC and Eddie Chastain of Westminster, SC; sisters: Debbie Justice and husband Michael of Walhalla, SC and Tammy Thompson and husband Michael of Seneca, SC; grandchildren: Maddox Johnson, Lucy Johnson, Brayden Holliday, Austin Holliday and Kaden Hensley; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 29, 2019, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM, Sunday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 W.
