Obituary Stevie W. Gurley, 66, widower of Barbara Sue Gurley of 225 Breazeale St. died Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late James Edward Gurley, Sr. and Essie Elaine Fields Gurley. He was a member of the Hamilton Masonic Lodge #403 A.F.M. Surviving are: sons, Stevie Daniel Gurley (Hope) and Zackery Steven Gurley (Julie) both of Anderson; daughter, Sherry McCullough (Kenny) of Anderson; brother, Jimmy Gurley (Pat) of Belton; sister, Sheran Fisher (Doug) of Belton; grandchild, “His #1” Susanna McCullough; great grandchild, Zi’Kera Gurley. Service will be held 2pm Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service Tuesday from 1pm until 1:45pm at Cox Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hamilton Masonic Lodge #403 A.F.M. @739 hamby Rd. Honea Path, SC 29654 or Rainey Hospice House @ 1835 Rogers Rd. Anderson, SC 29621. The family will be at the home of Jimmy Gurley, 1105 Dorchester Rd. Belton, SC 29627.
