Bloomington – Spenser Medley, Jr., 11, of Bloomington passed away at 10:24 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois in Peoria. A celebration of life will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at College Park Christian Church in Normal. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois Spenser was born on October 27, 2008, a son to Theresa Taylor and Spenser Medley, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Theresa Taylor of Normal; father, Spenser Medley, Sr. of Bloomington; maternal-grandparents, Michael Taylor and Jennifer Dawson, both of Bloomington; paternal-grandparents, Catherine and Dean Lough of Bloomington; sister, Audriana Taylor of Bloomington; and brothers, Braydan Medley of Bloomington, Landin Moffitt of Normal, Bryson Taylor of Bloomington, and Silas Marquart of Colfax. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents. Spenser was a fifth-grader at Cedar Ridge Elementary School in Bloomington. He was a loving spirit and he continued to share his love with others through the gift of organ donation.
