Sidney Colvin (81) passed away on 12/22/2019 at her home in Gulf Shores, AL. She was born in Louisville, KY on July 19, 1938 and his survived by her husband, Samuel Colvin, sons Tom Colvin (Kim), Terry Colvin (Sarah), Todd Colvin (Marilyn), daughter, Claudine Colvin, brother, Roger Meredith, sister Kay Meredith Steele, Sister-n-Law, Mary Colvin Hazelwood, nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Marshall J. Hester, mother, Mary J. (Brooks) Hester, son, Tony Colvin, and great grandchild, Sam Colvin. Sidney was an avid Louisville Cardinals fan, who enjoyed gardening, the beach, reading, going to concerts, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Sidney was loved by all that knew her. Her celebration of life will take place at Our Lady of the Gulf on December 27, 2019. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, and her final resting place will be at Pine Rest Cemetery in Foley, AL.
