Cedar Falls – Shirley Mae White, age 91, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. She was born May 23, 1928 the daughter of Irish and Kathleen (Hall) Webber in Waterloo. She graduated from Waterloo East High School in the class of 1946. On May 1, 1948 she married Ellis White in Charles City. She worked as a secretary for Rath Packing for many years, as well as a homemaker. Survived by: six children, Craig (Dianne) of Evansdale, Beverly (Ron) Dinnebier of Raymond, Kathleen (Charles) Baker of Silvis, IL, Rebecca (Peter) McGiffin of Huntington Beach, CA, Michael (Jamie) of Bothell, WA, and Jeffrey (Erica) of West Des Moines; seventeen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: her husband, two daughters, Rebecca Sue in infancy and Mary Beth, and one grandson, Michael Weyland. Funeral Mass will be 11am Monday, January 6 at St Patrick Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 2-4pm on Sunday, January 5 at Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls and also one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be in Garden of Memories in Waterloo. Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Honor Flight at PO Box 182 in Cedar Falls, Iowa 50613.
