Shannon Danielle Cook of Lansing passed away unexpectedly December 21, 2019. Shannon was born to Leslie Roy Jackson and Nora J. Cook on September 22, 1984. She attended Evertt High School and worked for Woodbridge Co. Shannon was a great cook and loved to listen to music but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her sons. She enjoyed long walks, watching movies and taking them fishing. She will be remembered for her “determined” attitude, some might call stubbornness and the love she showed for her family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Shaun and Maliki Pendergrass; mom, Nora; dad, Leslie; aunts and uncles, Sue (Walter) Kieffer, Peggy Marie Cook, Matthew (Christina) Cook and Danndy Isadore Cook; special cousin, Mindy along with numerous other cousins. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 3, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Hope Church, Garden Chapel, 202 S. Creyts Road, Lasing, Michigan 48917. Visitation will be at the church Friday from 10-11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the family to be used according to their wishes.
