Sarah Jane Love March 18, 1965 – December 10, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guestbook Sarah Jane Love went home to her Heavenly Father on December 10, 2019. She was born in Ames, Iowa on March 18, 1965 to the late John F. and Mittie Ann Love. She grew up in Ames,IA, graduating from Ames Senior High School as a National Merit Scholar. She continued her education on academic scholarship at the University of Chicago where she earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree. She graduated with double honors. Sarah was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She loved animals too, especially her cat Muppet. She especially enjoyed reading, writing and research, which she did both for fun and professionally for the Brookfield Zoo where she was employed for the past fifteen years as a Development Associate. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mittie Love and a nephew Benjamin Morrow. She is survived by a sister Mary Ann Love of Ames, Iowa, a brother, Dr. Charles (Betsy) Love of Ankeny, Iowa and a sister Grace (Don) Morrow of Black Creek, Wisconsin. She is also survived by nieces Amada and Carolyn Morrow and Jenny Love, and nephews, Charles and David Love. She had two special friends of many years, Kirsten Southerland and Mike Szczepaniak. Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday December 14, 2019 with the service immediately following at 3:00 p.m. at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home, 18230 Dixie Hwy. Homewood, IL.
