Obituary Sandra Harris Blanks, 80, of Dillwyn passed peacefully at home on December 7, 2019. She was born December 26, 1938, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Jack and Hazel Harris. Sandra was the Treasurer of Buckingham County for many years. Sandra is survived by her husband, James L. Blanks; two daughters, Julie B. O’Bryant and her husband, Jimmie and Jackie B. Ponton; two granddaughters, Holly P. Coleman and husband, Colby and Kristen O’Bryant; two sisters, Jacquelyn H. Jones and husband, Sonny and Patricia Harris and David Burg; brother, William H. “Billy” Harris and wife, Nancy and nieces, nephews and numerous other family and friends. Sandra was looking forward to the birth of her first great-granddaughter in February 2020. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn with interment in the St. Andrews Baptist Church Cemetery.
