Obituary Richard Brian “Rick” Quillen, age 62 of Troy, passed away Friday, November 29, 2019 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born March 10, 1957 in Troy to Henry and Pauline (Keaton) Quillen. Rick is survived by his wife Keely (Smith) Quillen; mother Pauline Quillen of Troy; daughter Stephanie Williams (fiancé Jason Lacey) of Troy; son Michael Quillen of Troy; four grandchildren; brother Jeff Quillen (Nancy) of Troy; and mother-in-law Maxine Smith of Troy. Along with his father, Rick was preceded in death by grandson LaVante Williams. Rick was a 1975 graduate of Troy High School and a former member of Sons of the American Legion Post 43 and AmVets Post 88, both of Troy. He enjoyed carpentry work and was a former employee with AO Smith in Tipp City where he was a Prototype Technician. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. To send flowers to Richard’s family, please visit our floral section.
