Raquel P. Garza, 78, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 28, 2019. Mrs. Garza is preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Garza; parents, Rito and Rita Palacios, and by several brothers and sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Miguel (Lupita) Garza III, Patricia Isabel Garza, and Mary Jane Garza (Steven Ybarra); grandchildren, Sebastian Garza, Michael (Elizabeth Enriquez) Atwell, Christopher (Monica) Raines, Ruben (Seleni) Hernandez, Kaylani Garza Ruiz, Jazzalyn Raquel Ybarra, Ivan Ricky Ybarra; great-grandchildren, Jacquelyn Hernandez, and Sophie Hernandez; siblings, Tomas Moises (Elfida) Palacios, Rito (Gloria) Palacios, Ramiro (Celia) Palacios, Carmen Palacios, Lupita Gomez, Herminia Vallejo, and Maria de la Luz Tijerina. Also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, other family members and friends. The family will be receiving guests Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will start at 7:00 pm. Cremation will be held at a later date. The family requests that guests wear bright vibrant colors to celebrate the life of Raquel.
