Ralph E. Kinkead, age 71, passed away on December 21, 2019 at home. He was born on December 31, 1947 to the late Harvey and Helen Kinkead in Columbus, Ohio. Ralph served in the United States army with the first Calvary as a combat medic in the Vietnam War. He later went on to work as a heavy equipment operator until retirement. Ralph was passionate about fishing, and was often found in the garage making fishing poles. Ralph was a Michigan fan, surrounded by an entire family of Buckeye fans, but he always held his own. He is preceded in death by Carl Gannon, his lifelong best friend. Ralph is survived by his wife Patricia; his siblings Harvey (Margie) Kinkead, Ken (Evelyn) Kinkead, Pat Tewell, and Maralyn (Len) Saylers; his children Kimber (Steve) Moehrman, Verona Kinkead, Katherine Kinkead, Norman Kinkead, Tina (Tom) Harmon, Anitra Wolfe, and Ricky (Amy) Seidle Jr.; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and dear friend Linda Gannon. Ralph is survived by his beloved dog, Chase, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends may call at O.R. WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME 1346 South High Street on Monday, December 30 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 10:30 am. Pastor Ronald White officiating.
