Nancy Ilene Chaney, who resided in Huntington, died Sunday, December 29, 2019, at Baptist Health in Fort Smith. She was born September 11, 1944, in Charleston, to the late Kay Hewitt and Ila Rae Bonner Hewitt. She was 75 years old. She was preceded in death by her sister, Delores House; and four brothers, Phillip, Lewis, Ronnie, and Ricky Hewitt.

Nancy was a retired seamstress and member of the Billiards Association.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 31st, at Measles Cemetery in Lavaca, with her grandson, the Rev. Steven Shotzman officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by two daughters, Missie Haney Shotzman and husband Steve of Greenwood and Deede Davis Clark and husband Phillip of Huntington; one son, Mike Haney and wife Melissa of Ratcliff; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a special niece, Kim Blackford of Lavaca; a special nephew, Johnny House of Lavaca; and her very best friend, Teresea Bowles of Charleston.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
