Kay Francis Crites-Palmer passed on December 7th 2019, with the same quite grace she lived her life with. She was a loving mother who loved gardening, dancing, laughing and being with friends. Kay was always hard working. She eventually started and ran a successful floral design business for many years. In spite of her constant battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Kay remained busy and happy.

Kay was born Jan 2nd, 1937 as the 7th of 8 children to Stanley and Hazel Spotts in Keyser West Virginia. Her family moved to Northern California at the start of WWII after her father joined the Navy and served until his death in 1966. Kay married Richard A Crites and had 3 children - Eileen, Lori and Rich. The family moved to Colorado made their home in Colorado Springs when Eileen and Lori were young and where Rich was born. Kay also lived in Frisco, Berthoud and finally, Loveland.

Kay is preceded in death by her siblings Sonny, Joyce, Jean, Carol and Joseph. She is survived by brothers Victor and Don, children Eileen, Lori, Richard and 6 grandchildren: Jessi, Tierny (great grandchildren Jaden and Jessi), Esha, Kirstin, Morgan and Teagan.

We want to convey our deepest appreciation to Pathways Hospice for the respect, dignity and comfort they provided our mom in her last days. The care of these angels was a blessing to us and our mother.
