Obituary Phyllis Gean Greaver Bower, 83, of Fishersville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 in Charlottesville. Mrs. Bower was born on January 2, 1936 in Staunton the daughter of Erskine Witbrow Greaver and Christina May Mizer Greaver. Phyllis was a member of Fishersville United Methodist Church. She was a part of XYZ and Nellie Myers Circle. She also loved to play cards with the ladies, Bridge and Bunco. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard H. Bower, Jr. She is survived by her son, Kenton H. Bower and his wife, Robin of Staunton; a daughter, Kimberley Anne Conner of Fishersville; two grandsons, Dustin Bower and Nathan Worley; three granddaughters, Amanda Bower, Sierra Worley and her companion, Jacob Weikert, and Stacey Shipe and her husband, Jamie; seven great grandchildren, Kaden, Onyx, Marley, Keelyn, Ryan, Emma and Colby; nephew, Mark Greaver and a niece, Glenda Graves. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Fishersville United Methodist Church. 1600 Jefferson Highway, Fishersville, VA 22939 Interment will follow at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro.
