Phyllis Foster, 76 of Kettering passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019 in Kettering. She was born January 21, 1943 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late James and Juanita Godfrey Hatcher. Phyllis enjoyed singing, traveling and old westerns. She was an avid reader. She loved keeping up with her friends and extended family through Facebook over the last several years. She was well known for a sharp tongue and outstanding pies. Phyllis is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Russell (Carol) Foster of Springfield, Mark (Donna) Foster of Kettering, John Foster of Lisbon. She also had six grandchildren – Brian (Kerry) of Enon, Denise (Mickey) of Enon, Craig of Enon, Darin (Becki) of Kettering, Dylan of Kettering and Derek of Kettering. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren – Clay and Colt of Enon and Stacy of Kettering. She came from a very large family. Many of her siblings have also moved on and she will be joining them along with her husband Jim Foster, who she has missed greatly. Her remaining sisters Ilene and Mary as well as her sister in law Caroline will miss her deeply. She also has a long list of nieces and nephews spread throughout the country.
