Obituary Patricia S. Barrier, 74 years old, passed away in the early morning on Friday, December 27, 2019 at her home. Pat was born on December 3, 1945 in South Bend to the late Glenn and Dorma “Jean” (Kiser) Eisele. She has remained a lifelong resident. Pat retired in 2008 from Standard Motor Products where she worked for over 11 years. Pat is survived by her two sons, Edward L. Barrier, Jr. of Lakeville and Chad (Misty) Barrier of South Bend; five grandchildren, Alyshea Scheid, Paige Scheid, Layne Scheid, Haily McNeill, and Dylan McNeill; and one brother, Tom (Nancy) Eisele of Bremen. Pat is also survived by her 4-legged friends, Brindi, Mattie, Sadie, and Ginger. Along with her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her daughter, Annette S. Barrier. Per Pat’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation will take place and a gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Patricia S. Barrier may be donated to Pet Refuge, 4626 S.
