Obituary Nina Blackburn, 91 of Heyworth, IL formerly of Taylorville passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 12:50 a.m. in her home in Heyworth, IL. She was born on December 23, 1928 in Robinson, IL the daughter of Paul Hill and Dorlis (Jenkins) Drygalski. She married Johnnie Loren Blackburn on November 2, 1947 in Olney, IL. Nina worked as a cosmetologist, artist, poet, author and homemaker. She was a member of the United Church of Heyworth in Heyworth, IL. She is survived by her sons: John D. (Barbara) Blackburn of Lincoln, IL; David B. (Trish) Blackburn of Edmond, OK; daughter: Linda Vonck of Heyworth, IL; fifteen grandchildren; nany great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter: Lana L. Kazenski and granddaughter: Lisa Kazenski. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Becky Lembke officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville, IL. Memorials may be made to the Midland United Methodist Church 600 Tower Pl, Kincaid, IL 62540 or Divernon United Methodist Church 503 S 2nd St, Divernon, IL 62530 or United Church of Heyworth 302 E Main St, Heyworth, IL 61745.
