Nellie’s Obituary D’ANGELO-MOSCA, Nellie – of Burton, age 97, went home to spend Christmas with her Lord and Savior on December 25, 2019 at Kra-Nur Manor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Monday, December 30, 2019 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G-5199 Richfield Road, Flint, MI 48506; Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. Entombment will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. There will be one hour of visitation on Monday at the church prior to Mass. Nelia D’Angelo was born in Castel di Sangro, Italy on December 4, 1922, the daughter of the late Romano E. and Gioconda (Capotosto) D’Angelo. She married Nicola Mosca and together they resided in Argentina for 20 years. Nicola predeceased her. Nellie was a tailor for Blackstone Men’s Clothing Store in Flint. Her hobbies included sewing and traveling. Her most memorable trip was to the Holy Land. Nellie never met a stranger. Everyone who met her, loved her. Nellie is survived by her brother, Romano A. D’Angelo; nieces and nephews, Stephen D’Angelo, Tina (David) Holland, Joseph (Susan) D’Angelo, and Diane (Michael) Boling; several great and great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by sister, Olga; sister-in-law, Vita “Vera” D’Angelo.
