Obituary Nathan G. Henshaw, age 28, passed away unexpectedly at home in Newark in the early morning hours of Friday, December 13, 2019. He was born in Newark, Delaware in July 1991, to parents Dana and Lisa Henshaw. The second of three children, Nathan was a lively and energetic child with a magnetic personality. His interests grew from baseball, to skateboarding, to playing the guitar in a band. In addition to his hobbies he worked hard to earn his GED in 2013. Nathan wasn’t afraid of hard work and sometimes held two jobs at one time. At the time of his death he was working as an apprentice for his friend and mentor, John, at Pientka Masonry Construction Company. He was a cheerful person with a wide circle of friends, and was known for his enthusiasm for food. He was looking forward to a bright and prosperous future with his girlfriend Sara. Nathan is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Virginia Henshaw and his maternal grandfather, Carl Reuschel. He is survived by his parents Dana and Lisa, his siblings Laura and Sam Henshaw, his grandmother, Joan Reuschel, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his loving girlfriend Sara Schreiber. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday December 20, 2019 at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, Delaware 19702 where friends may call from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
