Born April 1, 1946 in Pittsylvania County, VA, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas Edmunds, Sr. and Clorie Ellen Younger Bennett. She was married to the late Morris Lee Adams. Her survivors include two daughters, Diane Lee Adams and Loretta A. Valentine both of Danville, VA; one son, Steve Adams (Frances) of Danville, VA; one sister, Clorie Ann Wiles (Woodrow) of Danville, VA and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one daughter, Lisa Ann Adams Johnson and one brother, John T. Edmunds, Jr. The family will receive friends at the residence of her daughter, Loretta Valentine, 445 Brooke Dr., Danville, VA. Funeral service will be conducted Monday, January 6, 2020, at 12 Noon from Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jonathan King, Sr., Eulogist. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2020 from 4-8 PM from Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home.
