Mrs. Nancy R. Hansen, 76, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 29, 2019, in Muskegon. She was born April 26, 1943 to Charles and Velma (Parker) Swift in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. Nancy worked at Howmet before retiring, enjoyed cooking and baking, and shopping for knick-knacks and trinkets. Most of all she loved being with her family and grandchildren. On May 25, 1963 she married Douglas W. Hansen, and he survives her along with two sons: Dan (Sarah) Hansen, Tracy (Jackie) Hansen; two grandchildren: Jonathon and Joscelyn Hansen; 1 brother: Charles (Judy) Swift, Jr. She was preceded in death by one brother: Volney Swift; and one sister: Marilyn Werner. The memorial service will be Friday, January 3, 2020, at 2:00 PM at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
