Obituary for Michael F. Tighe Michael F. Tighe passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, November 23, 2019. He was 62 years old. Michael was born in Drexel Hill, PA to John and Alice Tighe. He is survived by his children, Jasmine Tighe (Sean Murphy), Tricia Cosgrove (Stephen),and Shane; siblings, John (Jane), Joseph, Paul, Maggie; and girlfriend, Diane Churchill. Michael is preceded in death by his children Natasha and Francis and by his siblings, Richard “Dickie”, Patricia “Trishy” and Mary. Mike was an amazing father, brother and friend. He enjoyed The Grateful Dead, fishing, Philadelphia sports and quality time with those he loved. Michael’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, November 30, 2019, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM with a funeral service beginning at 11AM at James J. McGhee Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Avenue, Southampton, PA 18966. Michael will be laid to rest at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Michael F. Tighe may be sent to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053. In honor of Michael’s love of tie-dye, his family has asked that guests please wear tie-dye to his services.
