Michael Christopher Hicks Milchak, age 41, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at his home in Fairfax, VA. He was born on July 1, 1978 in Arlington, VA to Michael E. Milchak and Catherine Hicks Milchak. He grew up in Centreville, VA, where he made many life-long friends and wrestled on his high school’s varsity team. After graduating from George Mason University in 2003, he worked as a title processor, and continued to live near his family in Northern Virginia. He enjoyed comic books, movies, and rock music. He also enjoyed vacationing at the beach and going deep-sea fishing. He adored his family and loved spending time with them. He will be remembered as a loyal friend and loving son, brother, and uncle. Survivors include his parents Michael and Catherine; Sisters, Catherine Zumwalt (Mitchell), and Laura Milchak; Brother, Brian Milchak (Megumi Takahashi); Grandmother, Carolyn Hicks; Nephews, Aidan and Andrew; and nieces, Alexandra and Ava. Family and friends will gather for a memorial service on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Pierce Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 9609 Center Street in Manassas, VA.
