WEST TOWNSED- May A. Guilmette, 64, of West Townsend, died Monday morning, December 23, 2019, in her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Boston on May 1, 1955 and grew up in Leominster, graduating from Leominster High School. May was an avid sports fan and a passionate supporter of the Boston Red Sox. Guilmette of West Townsend, a daughter, Taunya A. Greenough of West Townsend; a son Adam M. Guilmette of Leominster; three brothers, Steven Dakin and Dana Dockery both of Worcester and Ben Wales of New Hampshire and many nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by a brother, David Wales and two sisters, Margaret Brewer and Barbara Jean. Her family will receive family and friends on Friday evening, December 27, from 4 to 7 PM in the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 250 Main St., Townsend. Burial will be in the spring in the Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
